Retainer Ledger (“Retainer Ledger,” “we,” “us”) is a product of The Second Click, Inc. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and application (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, agency name, and password (stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider).
- Data you enter — the agency, client, retainer, time-entry, rate, and reporting information you and your team add to the Service.
- Usage data — basic technical information such as log data, device and browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Cookies — we use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure sessions. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate you and protect against fraud and abuse.
- To send transactional messages (for example, client reports, login links, and account notifications).
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
Service providers (subprocessors)
We share data with vendors who process it on our behalf to run the Service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
- Resend — delivery of transactional email.
- Anthropic — AI processing used to generate summaries and recommendations from data you submit for that purpose.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private agency or client data to train third-party AI models.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data; some records may be retained where required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and least-privilege access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
